Ready for some awesome combinations designed to challenge both mind and body? Ashley is here to train with you!

Ready for a challenge? In this class we will practice combinations designed for the advanced dancer, layering isolations and shapes, sequencing movements, learning tricky footwork and drilling different kinds of spins. You will work on increasing your endurance through long drills and learning combos quickly. At the end of class you will learn one long master combination to be practiced on both sides, first slowly and then super fast! Remember to have fun with this; the video is meant to be repeatable so we hope you find it challenging enough to return to over and over again.

Presenting 3 new sweet and bite-sized dance based drill and combination classes with Ashley Lopez!

Drill Bits: Bump It!
Drill Bits: Twist It! 
Drill Bits: Shake It!

In these 30 minute sessions you'll dance through lean drill and combination session focusing on a specific body region in each class. Twist It covers various hip twists, Bump It focuses on different hip locks and bumps and of course an assortment of shimmies are covered in Shake It! Enjoy!

In this 30 minute danceable drill session, Ashley will get you moving and sweating by focusing on up hip locks and bumps. You will practice hip up locks and hip bumps, with traveling steps, turns, and layers. Please make sure you warm up and cool down before and after this practice.

In this 30 minute danceable drill and combination session, Ashley will lead you through a practice focused on twists. You will work on twists as isolations, locks, with traveling steps, turns, and layers. Please make sure you warm up and cool down before and after this practice.

In this 30 minute danceable drill and combination session, Ashley will get you moving by focusing on shimmies! You will practice shimmies as isolations, in the shoulders, hips, as flutters, 3/4 shimmies, and also with traveling steps, turns, and layers. Please make sure you warm up and cool down before and after this practice.

Vintage Inspired Combinations with Finger Cymbals

Presenting the newest class from Zoe Jakes: Vintage Inspired Combinations and Zil Compositions!

Four vintage inspired belly dance combinations are taught that can be done with or without challenging finger cymbal compositions. Everything in the workshop is broken down and drilled, including on-screen notation for finger cymbal pattern reference.

Vintage Inspired Combinations with Finger CymbalsVintage Inspired Combinations and Zil Compositions

This workshop showcases four vintage inspired combinations that can be done with or without finger cymbals, inspired by the vintage belly dance of the west coast tribal lineage of Jamila Salimpour and Katarina Burda. The stylization is earthy glamour: feet rooted firmly to the floor while executing more modern pops and locks, mixing juicy 70's influenced old school with cutting edge Tribal Fusion vocabulary. Zoe will detail the movement phrases, break down the finger cymbal patterns, and then put them together in a dance based drill. A warm up is strongly recommended before attempting this class.

The trifecta of a strong dancer is technique, strength, and flexibility. In this workshop expect new and creative drills for your own personal practice. All aspects of movement will be touched on from inside out, from head to hips, encouraging use of breath, energy and connection. Belly Dance Flow Drills 2 follows the same format as the original flow drills with new foot and arm patterns. Vinyasa yoga is interspersed throughout this workshop to prevent injury and support endurance. The goal of the flow drills series is to impart a solid foundation of dance movement with high impact and high energy drills to develop strong, versatile dancers equipt for a variety of belly dance styles.
