Video Description: In ATS®, there are specialized movement variations that were developed particularly for duets. These include passing and crossing moves that work best, and are most effective, when executed by a pair of dancers. This Intermediate class celebrates Duets and movements developed for two dancers, including Camel Walk Crossing, Wrap-Around Turn Crossing, Arm Flourish Crossing. Each variation will be paired with slow or fast basic ATS® moves so grab a partner and get your zils ready!American Tribal Style® Technique Improvisation Hips Vocabulary Body Region Movement Technique Tools Elements Zils 00:49:03
This Intermediate level class introduces a slow Flamenco inspired move called the Barrel Turn, a variation on Turkish Shimmy which adds arms and a ½ turn, and a fun undulation with accented chest drops called Arabic 1-2-3.
